The National Infantry Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable corporation, formed in 1998 to plan, build and operate a new National Infantry Museum.

IT Director National Infantry Museum.
The National Infantry Foundation has an immediate opening for a full-time IT Director at the new National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center in Columbus, Georgia. Duties prior to the March 2009 opening of the museum will include project planning, budgeting, installation oversight and deployment of overall network infrastructure (including wireless systems), personal computer systems, database systems, voice/date and communications systems and back-up/disaster recovery systems.

After the museum opens, duties will include executive management and some "hands on work" of the above systems, plus the following: audio/visual systems (including museum gallery contents), website management, security systems, point of sale (POS) systems, and various visitor experience modules (i.e. simulators). Five years' experience with systems of similar size and complexity required. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
