Mr. Mathews D. Swift was born in Columbus, Georgia; August 11, 1947. He graduated from high school in 1965 from Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia.

Mr. Swift furthered his education at the University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia graduating with B.A. in Economics, 1969 and Walter F. George School of Law, Macon, Georgia graduating with J.D. in Law, 1972. Mr. Swift also is also Designated Certified Commercial Real Estate Investment Manager, April 1989.

Currently he has held the position of President & COO, W.C. Bradley Co. Real Estate Division since 1986. He is also President, Developers-Investors, Inc., a subsidiary of W.C. Bradley Co. From 1972 –1986 he was an attorney with the law firm Page, Scrantom, Harris & Chapman, P.C.

Mat is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Georgia Association of Realtors, Columbus Board Of Realtors, Home Builders Association of Georgia, Georgia Bar Association and American Bar Association.

Fraternities/Athletics: College: Sigma Alpha Epsilon – President, 1969; University of Georgia Tennis Team – 1965 and 1966 Law School: Phi Delta Phi.

Military Service: Commissioned First Lieutenant 1972, Presently Inactive Reserve.

Mat is married to former Mary Lou Crawford of Columbus, Georgia. They have children, Lindsay Fluker, Age 27; Lucile Branch, Age 25; and Catherine, Age 18 and three grandchildren.
