A series of life-sized, bronze depictions of Infantry experiences will serve to both honor soldiers and educate visitors. These include:

    Galleries
    Artist's conception

  • World War II vignette – Visitors will see how Infantrymen arrived on the shores of Normandy on D-Day in Higgins Boats. Commander Dwight Eisenhower said of the Higgins Boat, "It won the war for us."
  • Korean War vignette – Snow-capped rocks will give visitors an idea what conditions Infantrymen faced in combat during frigid Korean winters.
  • Ranger Patrol vignette – Visitors will learn of the special skills Rangers possess in this vignette of an assault landing.
  • Vietnam War vignette – The Huey helicopter became widely used as a new way to put Infantrymen in position for combat. A bronzed copy anchors this Vietnam War memorial.
